Instructions
This is your first homework. Most of the questions have to do with (1) cultural perceptions of astronomy and (2) what science is. Questions are multiple choice or multiple answer format.
The homework will take a little while. You have a 12-minute podcast to listen to, as well as some short readings to do on webpages. Be sure to devote an appropriate amount of time to complete the homework.
The homework is due before the start of class on Tuesday, Sept. 27. Late submissions will not be accepted. You will be permitted two attempts to complete the homework questions. If you elect to submit a second attempt, it will be that second attempt that counts toward your grade.
If you have any questions or difficulties accessing materials, you must let me know by the end of class on Monday, Sept. 26.
